Først da byggedes en ny bolig for førstelæreren på den anden side af gaden - hvorefter den gamle bygnings stueetage udelukkende anvendtes til skoleformål. <br /> <br /> I starten af 1900-tallet var skolen imidlertid blev forældet, og i 1911 kunne man tage en helt ny og moderne skole i brug lidt nord for den gamle. Denne skole blev udbygget i flere omgange.
