Skolerne hedder fremover Afd. Gurrevej, Afd. Nordvest, Afd. Kongevej, Afd. Marienlyst og Afd. Nygård.<br /> <br /> Afd. Marienlyst står overfor at skulle renoveres og udbygges med henblik på en sammenlægning med afd. Kongevej. Projektet hedder &#039;&#039;&#039;Skole i Bymidten&#039;&#039;&#039; og centrerer sig omkring selve afd. Marienlyst, Kampfeltgrunden og det tidligere Hovedbibliotek. <br /> <br /> Byrådet besluttede at udskrive en arkitektkonkurrence og vinderen Arkitektfirmaet Rubow + Effekt blev kåret i november 2012. <br /> <br /> Projektet omfatter: En bæredygtig helhedsplan for bydelen, Et multihus med cafe og flere sportshaller, en ny udskoling/musikskole som om- og tilbygning af det tidligere Hovedbibliotek.<br /> <br /> Helsingør Kommune har ikke penge til at gennemføre hele projektet på en gang. Byrådet har afsat ca. 175 mio. kroner alene til første etape.</div>
